NEW! The Dream On Duster crochet pattern by Shibaguyz Designz in the Fall 2017 issue of Interweave Crochet
The motifs were inspired by the classic granny square but with a nod to the flower power influence of this design with a circular flower in the center of each motif. Each motif is made with a join-as-you-go technique to make the main body of the duster in one piece. Then, stitches are picked up along the top edge of the motif fabric panel and worked in one piece up to the armholes where the sleeves and upper body are made as one piece and sewn together at the shoulders and underarms. If you've made afghans and scarves before, you can definitely make this FAB duster in time for Fall. And y'all are going to LOVE working with the two yarns we used by Cascade Yarns: Roslyn and Hampton. If you've attended any of our LIVE classes at STITCHES, you know we usually bring along these samples for y'all to try out yourself. In the Dream On Duster, the light and tweedy Roslyn blends perfectly with the FAB Hampton cotton/linen blend.
