Take a quick look through our designs and you'll notice we have a long and beautiful relationship with the FAB folks at Interweave Crochet Magazine and the fine folks at F&W Media. Over the years we've created patterns for them, taught webinars, and recorded downloadable video classes for them. Naturally, when we started thinking about who to ask to sponsor our National Crochet Month giveaways, Interweave was at the top of our list. So we called, and they answered!

I'm @Cecinatrix @ everywhere. Already following you Twitter, IG, someday soon FB (don't spend a lot of time there).

Learn to crochet from my Mother back in the 70s when broomstick lace had its first hey day. When people used an actual sawed off broom stick handle.

I never got as far as the lace making. Loved to make chains. Just chains. Long lengths with no purpose. Eventually lost focus and the habit.

After 9/11, I needed home spun art back in my life. So I shook loose some brains cells and resuscitated the crochet lessons. Picked up library books and online tutorials as refresher and made my way to filet crochet. Never looked back. I'd found the best way to say what I couldn't put into words.

I've stayed crochety ever since.

I learned to crochet 40 years ago. When my brother was born some friends stayed with us while mom was in the hospital. Tom brought his crocheting with him, gave me a hook & some yarn and the rest is history!!!

My sister who was 21 years older than me taught me how to crochet when i was about 19 or 20. Sadly she passed away when she was only 50 years old. I am so happy that she left me with a lifetime memory as I love to crochet!

I'm Engineerthecraft on Instagram. I taught myself how to crochet by watching Youtube. I met the Shibaguyz last summer at Stitches Midwest.

My mother taught me the basics way back when. I never did much with it until the past 5 years. I am so happy that she got to see me enjoying crocheting and making beautiful things before she passed away this past year.

Hi! I learned to crochet when I was taking a train home from my niece's graduation and was looking for something to pass the time. My sister taught me the basics before I left. 12 years later, and I love crocheting even more now than I did then. I follow you on FB and Instagram under the name purpletucker.

I learned to crochet the old fashioned way! From books and flyers. I wish I would have had today's technology back then!

I learned from my maternal grandmother when I was 7 yrs. old. I had to pay attention because she was right-handed and I'm left-handed! Then I picked it up steadily again in high school when I had some money to spend on yarns.

I am self taught from books. I crocheted in my teens but I just hated the chaining so I stopped. Then I found chain free about 2 years ago and was blown away! No chain to fight with? Mind blown! Now I want to spread the chain free message. You won't believe this but other people just nod and back away slowly. Not crocheters I guess. So that is my crochet story.

I taught myself how to crochet over 40 years ago. I was an avid knitter but there were some beautiful patterns in crochet that I envied so I learned how.
