What a whirlwind the last few months have been! Between teaching at events like STITCHES! West, DFW Fiber Fest, and the Pittsburgh Knit and Crochet Show, we've been preparing for Vogue Knitting LIVE - Pasadena and STITCHES! Midwest... in the midst of all this insanity, Shannon has flown to Denver not once, not twice, but three times... each time to film classes for you! And today we get to announce that Craftsy Crochet Class #4 has launched! WOOHOO!!!

Reading & Understanding Crochet Patterns (my 4th Craftsy Class for those counting) is officially live today. 

This is a course I've been wanting to get on tape for quite a while now.  It's filled with information that every stitcher from beginner to advanced master can use on a daily basis. As you can imagine, it's all about reading and understanding crochet patterns

Reading crochet patterns can be tricky, with so many different styles and abbreviations, but with this class I'm here to help you read and work through any pattern. We begin by learning all the ways crochet terms are shown in a pattern, as well as how to actually read and work through one. We show the abbreviation, stitch chart symbol, and my hands making the stitch all at the same time!  This is a first for ANY Craftsy class.  This "Live Stitch Dictionary" is worth the course alone!

Next, find out how to tell if a pattern has all the information you need to successfully complete it. I'll explain special pattern elements such as stitch repeats, charts and diagrams, and sizing.
