Learn the Crochet Non-Stick lace pattern!
If you love the look of crochet lace, and want to learn the in's and out's of making your own intricate creations, this is a class you're going to want to take! The Non-Stick Lace pattern has been a favorite of ours for years, it was included in one of our very first published patterns! Whether using a lace weight yarn or heavy worsted, this take on broomstick lace (made without the extra stick) shows up (and shows off) in any project. It's a stitch we've used in some of our favorite crochet garments including the popular Tank Top #2 from Designer Crochet and Lace Cardi from Crochet Geometry. In fact the class handout includes the full pattern for the Non Stick Lace Tank Top.
This is an intermediate stitch pattern. Students should come to class with an understanding of:
- Basic crochet stitches (Single crochet, Double (dc), Double Treble (dt), ect)
- Foundation Single Crochet
- Knowledge of crochet garment construction a plus but not required for learning this stitch.
This workshop includes a walkthrough for the Linked First Treble stitch and how to make Non Stick Lace in the round.
