For over 3 years we heard you asking for a class on making the Woven Cables stitch pattern used for this t-top. We are happy to announce that we have added a long requested class to our teaching schedule which includes a hands on walkthrough of this intriguing open weave crochet cable stitch and basics the for using it to construct the T-Top.
We've given the functional and conventional t-top an upgrade to the extraordinary! Made from cuff to cuff, this silhouette is flattering on every body type and features a spectacular crochet lace fabric based on our wildly popular "woven cables" pattern stitch. Because of the unique qualities of this lace woven cables stitch pattern, the finished piece is versatile enough to be worn as a casual relaxed top or as a more form fitting piece. It's up to you!
Students should already have an understanding of:
- Basic crochet stitches (Single crochet, Half-Double crochet)
- Foundation Half Double crochet - Tutorial found HERE
We'll teach you all the rest from there...
Zoom link for the class, list of supplies needed, and a PDF handout including the written Woven Cables stitch pattern with cable diagram and the full T-Top pattern with schematics will be emailed separately. The pattern is sized for sizes Small through 5X and is a must have for any crocheter.
Students should come to class with a solid color yarn and a crochet hook appropriate for that yarn. You will complete the swatch in class and will go over the T-Top pattern.
