Pride of My Heart started as our 2025 Quilt Block of the Month, and it grew into a full quilt that says exactly what we wanted it to say: these are our colors, this is our love, and there's a place for yours right alongside it.
Built on the beloved Entwined block from Scrappy Wonky Quilt Block Extravaganza, each heart is pieced strip by strip using a bridging method, where every new piece reaches across the two before it. No fussy templates, no precision-police, no wrong way to do it. You start with a single half-square triangle turned on point, then keep stacking until a heart takes shape under your hands. Then you frame it, square it, and watch a whole quilt of them come together into something that's unmistakably yours.
The colors we chose are personal to us, and we've included our exact sequence in the color chart. But here's the fun part: this pattern is an invitation to go off. Pick the colors that represent your pride, your people, your heart. We genuinely can't wait to see what you make.
