Flower of Life Furoshiki Kit
Wrap It, Stitch It, Gift It: The Flower of Life Furoshiki Kit
Meet the kit that turns fabric into a gift and the giving. Furoshiki is the Japanese art of wrapping with cloth, and when you stitch your own with a Flower of Life sashiko pattern, you are making something with real staying power. No wasteful paper, no throwaway anything, just one beautiful reusable wrap made by your own two hands. Mottainai, folx. Nothing wasted.
This kit has all the basics from our Sashiko Starter Kit, plus the extras you need to complete a full furoshiki project from start to finish, and it comes with access to our streaming Flower of Life Furoshiki workshop where we teach you the process to build a real project.
What is in the kit
The basic sashiko needs: Our favorite Long Type John James Darners, a palm thimble, 10 white marking pens, and a 12” inch clear ruler. All the core tools that make sashiko feel relaxed instead of fiddly.
A large spool of Aurifil 12 weight thread. More stitching needs more thread! We’ve chosen this spool for the quantity, quality, and durability that make sashiko such a joy. Each spool is 356 yards (325 meters).
1 yard of sashiko fabric. A lovely 45% cotton, 55% linen blend with the perfect hand for stitching and wrapping.

Access to the Flower of Life Furoshiki streaming workshop. No prior experience needed. We start with the basics and guide you through the whole project, from marking your grid to your finished wrap. Think of it as us pulling up a chair right next to you.
The workshop includes a section on using various folds and wraps with your finished furoshiki
Make it, wrap it, gift it, do it all again. This is Textile Architecture you can hold in your hands: reclaimable, reusable, and built to last. Grab your kit, press play, and start stitching your first furoshiki today.
